Ultrasound is my world - and soon yours too?
Karin Hüttmeyer | Your personal ultrasound training - that is me: Ultrasound technology in medicine has been with me for decades; it is both a vocation and a passion for me.
The bat - the animal in my logo
The bat uses a sophisticated ultrasonic echolocation system to orientate itself: with its calls, which are inaudible to human ears and are reflected by its surroundings, it always knows exactly where to go. This is how ultrasound works ... simply clever!
As a graduate engineer in medical technology and application specialist, I have a great deal of technical expertise and experience in sonography. My almost 30 years of intensive work in the world of ultrasound have given me a comprehensive, brand-independent overview of devices from various manufacturers in a wide range of specialist areas: in my main focus of gynaecology and obstetrics, in vascular diagnostics, cardiology and internal medicine. After starting out as an independent application specialist, I became the owner of the WfM Weiterbildungsinstitut für Medizinberufe (training institute for medical professions) in Buxtehude, Germany, in 2007, which has established itself nationwide as a very good address for further ultrasound training.
Since 2025, I have focused entirely on what I do best: advising, coaching and optimising. And I do this individually and empathetically, always with a lot of consulting expertise and a pinch of humour - so that complex technology is conveyed in a way that is both understandable and clear. I am happy to share my accumulated know-how with you and get the best out of it for you, whether it's learning, optimisation or a new purchase. In short: I will support you with a great deal of professional expertise in all ultrasound matters and can respond precisely to any specific requirement relating to sonography.
